I loved this book! The only thing I would change is adding more references to the passing time. I had a hard time trying to visualize how old the orphans were as time passed with no dates or mention of how long it had been since the beginning of the book. There were only two places that I noticed that referenced age and until I got to the second one I was still seeing the orphans as small children, even though I knew logically that they weren't.

There should be certainty writting about some factors which could help to imagine the story writting.

Not personally, but as for the children it is suggested to, which is the age category of 5-7 year olds, it could be a complex read.

I think the author could clarify the passage of time. Similar to another comment, I thought it was confusing at times to guess how old the children were at certain points. I also had no timeframe for when the story took place which confused me.

I was not bothered or confused by the writing style here. I do think it's valuable for authors (especially authors of books geared towards younger readers) to be deliberate in their style, but I think Dumb Orphans does a great job.
