Insofar as the word 'should' even has meaning, then we must say that the past is exactly as it should be, everything that happened should have happened, and everything that should happen will happen

The book explores the roots of alchemy in ancient civilizations examining its historical, philosophical, and psychological aspects. Additionally, the author's work sheds light on allegorical themes and alchemy's connection to modern science. It integrates practical techniques with spirituality and mysticism.

This book delves into Alchemy and all its contents, but I found that another theme that was gladly discussed was the historical and sociological aspects of these ancient civilizations. Even though the main focus of the book is Alchemy, these themes were heavily discussed and contributed to a better reading experience.

Philosophy and history are my major takeaway themes from this book. I like how everything was explained to detail
