The contrasting color scheme is a bold choice; I think the cover is eye-catching and conveys an idea of mystery. I might've picked it up based on the image alone, if I didn't know what the book was about.
Before reading it, though, I wondered how the cover related to the theme of alchemy. In one of the later chapters, I finally made a connection between the cover image and one of the illustrations (as well as the themes of change and self-discovery in the text).
I still think it might've been better if it included alchemical symbols or other icons relevant to the theme.

I stopped to see what the book was about because of the cover. However, after reading the cover and the description, I felt that it had nothing to do with the subject of alchemy.

I think it's an exciting book with very well developed characters. The book's pacing matched perfectly with book's overall narrative. So I would say its an excellent book and one I would recommend

The cover is interesting but somewhat unsettling. I probably wouldn't have chosen this font.

The cover was one of the things that attracted me to the book. Together with Ine title, it had an aura of mystery which I just wanted to unravel.

I saw the word Alchemy and expected some metal bits in the artwork, but all I saw were wooden doors. But the butterfly on the woman's figure is intriguing, so it's an enticing cover.

The cover was the first thing caught my mind, due to it's creativity and welcoming hidden thought asking us to decode.
