The cover of the book is eye-catching it made me look at it for a long while to understand the significance of the nude woman and the butterfly on her head. The cover has piqued my interest in reading the book.

To me the cover doesn’t really allude to what the book is about as much as it could. I think it would be more fitting to have more images that have to do with alchemy than just the butterfly.

I love the cover! I thought it was very artistic to have the blend of the woman and the butterfly. Also, the cover doesn't reall say much about what the book is abou, so it's very intriguing!

The cover packs a lot in it and I think it fits well as a riddle on its own. It would get a person wondering what business a nude woman with a butterfly face has with alchemy. The fact that she's like a giant, holding doors even adds to the questions. Maybe those are the doors to the answer of the riddle, but I am not sure what to think. I might be wrong.

The various doors could be connected to the riddle aspect of the book, but the rest of the design doesn’t seem to relate before having read the book.
Yeah, I agree with the aspect of the doors and the riddle too. Besides that, I don't know what to think about the rest of the imagery.

This actually makes sense. It definitely invoked some curiousity in me, I can't even lie.

The cover is eye catching, not really giving much insight as to what the book is about, but I dont think that was the intention. I'm sure that the artwork on the cover has a deeper meaning that would be revealed once I read the book.

Intriguing. Dark. Sexual. Doorways and mystery. Those are the words that immediately come to mind when I look at the cover of this book. Just looking at the cover excites my brain and I'm itching to delve into the book and unravel the mysteries behind every clearly significant part of this picture.

The cover of this book is the real attention grabber. I was curious; the cover seemed revealing and inviting. Adding to the fact that the book title is also eye-catching, they found the perfect combination to make any reader curious.

This cover reminds me of Pablo Picasso's work. It's dreamy and mysterious and reminds me of his era of blue paintings

I find it very attractive for the reader: confusing, strange, but still with harmony on it. It's the kind of cover that make you, at least, look at reviews and check the first pages. I think is well designed overall!

I really like the style of the artwork, but it doesn’t seem to fit the content of the book. It does not look like a history book based on this cover, and I would not guess what it is about looking at it. I am very interested to read this book based on the description, but the cover would not make me want to pick it up.

The cover does a good job grabbing your attention. I think it would only be bad to those who don't like nudity. But the majority of people get drawn to nudity, so I think not many people would be turned off by it.

I think the cover of the book is great, if not a little misleading. It is definitely an eye-catching cover, but one that's slightly confusing. A butterfly as a face on a woman's body stands out, but what it has to do with alchemy is unknown, especially at first glance.
