Insofar as the word 'should' even has meaning, then we must say that the past is exactly as it should be, everything that happened should have happened, and everything that should happen will happen

My overall rating of the book is 5 out of 5 stars. I enjoyed the in-depth exploration of alchemy, philosophy, science, spirituality and history. It's a very good and emphatic book.

I found the writing good. I must say I loved how flowing it was. The author made sure that the points raised were substanted, and that impressed me immensely.
‘When you do a good deed, people are grateful, and that creates a nice feeling inside you; and then because it feels good, that makes you want to do more good deeds. That repetition is the cycle of goodness.’

It can't be a perfect rating, because I found the technical parts hard to read. The magnitude of old scientific theories and chemical processes was off-putting for me.
