Insofar as the word 'should' even has meaning, then we must say that the past is exactly as it should be, everything that happened should have happened, and everything that should happen will happen

I enjoyed the book and I think the plot has a lot of potential for a sequel. Hopefully, the author will write one.

The novel's epilogue offers and interesting twist that could be used as the fountation for a sequel. It could explore possible changes in the law about cloning and progress in cloning techniques.
Ciao :)

I would appreciate a sequel, especially if it is accompanied by a mind-blowing plot twist.

Absolutely. I found the ending a tad dissatisfying - I'd like to know Chloe's reasons for not contacting Sam, if and how she meets him again, how her and Francisco's relationship progresses and what the legalities regarding clones ultimately end up being. Andropov ends up with a prison sentence, but how did things regarding the law settle? Are clones still used for transplants, and are there proper guidelines for unintended sentience? There are quite a few unanswered questions and I enjoyed the author's writing style so I would like to see more.

I think the book is complete as it is. The author wanted it to be that length, and that's fine.

Of course. I like the idea behind the story, quite fascinating, the ethical themes, the emotional build up, and the vivid scenery. I'll like to experience such feel again.
