My first impression of the book was that it was a romance novel, but after reading it, the cover is appropriate for the storyline. However, it does have a lot of red, which is not my favorite color.

I am intrigued by the cover. I have not yet read the book, but just by looking at the cover I wanted to. The colors are vibrant and that is something I love.

The cover is definitely attention-grabbing: the bright red heart is surrounded by black leaves and a subtitle that indicates it is a thriller. It succeeded in its first job of making me want to read up on the description. Somewhere around 1/3rd of the book down, and nothing yet to say that the cover does not suit the book.

Although I like the cover, it does give off more romance novel vibes than thriller vibes.

The cover catches the eye, but I don't think it matches the whole story. I will say, though, sometimes getting the reader interested is half the battle. The cover had me interested enough to read the intro, hooked me, and made me pick up the book.

I have to agree with all the others that have commented on this post. The cover is doing too much, contrary to the grounded and simple plot of the book. The red is also quite misleading, giving potential readers the wrong impression of a romance book. This could drive them off, which is not a very smart move. I would definitely recommend a professional book cover artist to do this great book justice.

Judging from the book's title and the red heart floating above Jeannie's car, I would have guessed that this is a romance novel. I would not have known that this is a crime thriller unless I read the blurb. Nevertheless, the cover is striking, and since the heart is surrounded by leaves, there is a nod to the botanical theme in the story.

I think the cover of *Bless Your Heart: A Jeannie Johal Thriller* is eye-catching and well-designed—it hints at mystery and tension, perfectly setting the tone for a gripping thriller. I'm curious, i can't wait to read it.

I find the picture of the red-shaped heart on a black-colored background on the book's cover page very exciting. It matches the book's title and keeps readers wondering about the book's content. Also, the picture of a woman driving a red car on the lower part of the cover page depicts a story centered around a female detective. This is indeed appealing to readers.

I think the cover of this book is pretty and layered. The color combination used is also quite attractive, and if you are scrolling through Amazon and this book pops up, I will surely look twice and probably even open it to enlarge it and check what the book is about. I believe that's a pretty strong cover design then! :)

I think the cover is interesting. It definitely ties in with the story but I think doesn't fit the theme or genre. With the colour scheme of reds and pinks and the reference to the heart I would look at this on the shelves and think that it was more of a romance novel rather than a mystery/crime. After having read the book I can see how the imagery ties in to the story and like the different aspects being shown on the cover, as well as the strong, female protagonist.

The cover is colorful and eye-catching. The illustration of the scared-looking lady made me think there is a car crash somewhere in the book. The scared lady in the car appears to have something in front of her that is tormenting her. The cover left me with a great deal of curiosity. What is haunting the lady?

The color scheme of the book cover, as well as the title and the script font that is used for the title, give the impression that this book will be a romance novel, more so than a thriller. I like the use of the darker leaves at the top of the cover and around the big red heart and I feel that this detail helps to balance some of the overpowering nature of the red used in the design.
