Ha! Great observation! Authors often create characters based on people they know. I agree that Frank did not lead as he should have. He kept delegating his responsibilities to other staff members instead of doing them himself. He also brushed off Tanisha every time she asked him for help.Diana Lowery wrote: ↑16 May 2025, 10:31 I think lackadaisical is the perfect adjective to describe Frank. He did not seem very vested in the project. I wonder if the author based his character on someone she has worked with.
In one way, I'm surprised that he wasn't more involved, but in another way, it doesn't surprise me at all because there are many lazy people in this world who want a quick buck without putting in the work. However, in Frank's defense, maybe he was still very depressed due to his daughter's passing and found it difficult to focus on his work.
