What do you think of the cover of "Bless Your Heart: A Jeannie Johal Thriller"?

I think the cover is very interesting. As someone who hasn't read the book yet, I would pick it up to read the blurb just off the cover alone, and that's so important when it comes to books, even when we don't want to judge them by that alone.

What are your thoughts?

The cover has a nice title design and strong colors that catch attention. The heart and red car fit the theme and help show it’s a mystery. The woman in the car also gives a clue about the story.

However, the fancy font is a little hard to read, especially in a small size. The top part looks heavier than the bottom, so the design could be more balanced. Also, the heart and font make it look a bit romantic, which might not match the thriller genre well. The woman in the car looks a bit flat; more detail could help show her feelings better.

Altogether, a pretty good cover, but just a few bits can make it stronger and clearer.

Having cursorily looked at the cover, I thought it was romance with a broken heart. Not a romance fan, and even more so not a broken hearts women's fiction fan, I did not explore it further. And then I was surprised to see the mention in this question that it is actually a thriller.

I also, at first, thought that it was a romance novel. To me, the cover has too much red in it. Murder mysteries do not always have to have blood red all over the cover like a lot of them do. A little red is good, but not so much. Even though red is my favorite color, the cover hurts my eyes.

I think the cover doesn't really give a clear description of the book's genre, it gives off the feeling of romance. And I agree, that the red was a bit much.

At first glance, I thought this book was a romance. Something about the name of the book and the font that was used made me think romance. I was surprised when I looked closer and saw that it was a thriller.

I think the cover is eye-catching. It will make me want to know more details about the book and the story. But I haven't read the book yet, so I can't judge if it's related to the story or not.

The big red heart surrounded by big purple leaves, and a red car being driven by a brunette, and the title Bless Your Heart seems like a memoir or a love story. It does not look like a thriller. However, part of the title is "A Jeannie Johal Thriller". I have not started to read the book but am anxious to begin. I am in a mood to read this thriller.

When I looked at the cover of this book, I thought it was for tweens, something for middle-school girls. However, when I read the synopsis, it sounded more like an Erin Brockovich case. I thought the same thing about the cover of the first book in the Jeannie Johal series. Then I saw that the books are written for high school-age kids. But it doesn't look like the drama or thriller it is supposed to be. Even the title throws off the premise of the book. The cover and title made me think it was a "Junie B. Jones-type" book. They both seem too "Judy Blume" for a serious subject matter written with high school kids in mind. I don't think the cover or the title does the book any justice—just my opinion.

The cover, in my opinion, is really intriguing. I haven't read the book yet, but I would choose it up simply to read the synopsis. This is crucial considering that it concerns books, even though we shouldn't evaluate them based solely on the cover.

I don't like the heart or the font used over it. It makes the cover look too busy. I do like everything else on the cover, and think it would look better if the heart were removed and a clearer, simpler font used for the title. This would make it look more like a thriller and less like a romance.

I definitely would have thought this book fit in the romance category based off the cover alone. I think it would intrigue me enough to pick it up or read the summary to see if I wanted to read it. It fits in the contemporary book covers that are popular right now.

My first thought about the book from the cover and title is that it is a romance with a touch of a thriller. The red and hearts all over the place give away a totally different impression than what the book blurb describes. The potential in the plot and base of the story is very intriguing but I would have never guessed it right without reading the blurb.

I think the cover matches the title "Bless Your Heart". I only sampled the book for now, and I must say I enjoy the story. I can't wait to finish the book.
