Which secondary characters stood out to you? Why?

Tanisha's character stood out to me, her enthusiasm and resilience were remarkable.The author developed her beautifully, intertwining her background with the unfolding events in a way that felt authentic and impactful. I was particularly drawn to the life-changing encounter that set off a series of events that shaped her journey.

Yes, Tanisha. The way her character was discovered, wandering by the side of the road, is heartwarming and how she grew into a confident and pivotal part of the narrative proves that sometimes secondary characters are essential to a good story.

I also loved Tanisha and thought she added a nice dimension to the story. Jeannie's kindness in stopping for her at the side of the road impressed me, and Tanisha's resilience and determination gave her character life. Tanisha and Lily-Jean were favorites of mine.

The first secondary character who stood out to me was Lily-Jean Lamont, who works at the Hilton, the hotel where Dr. Jeannie Johal was billeted during her stay in Greenville, NC. She is the epitome of Southern hospitality. When Dr. Johal first arrived in North Carolina, Lily-Jean made her feel welcome to the state and prepared a little lunch bag for her first day of work. The next secondary character who was prominent was Tanisha. Her family situation was down in the dumps, but she was determined to improve her life and learn new skills.

I think it was La Donna. Even though she was a skank, she fought for Will and was smart in her own ways. Her death was horrific and memorable.
