I think the cover represents the genre well. It is clear at a first glance that this book is science fiction. Like many others have mentioned, I also like the color combination. It is pleasing to the eyes. Kudos to whoever made this cover; it is a job well done!

I like the cover. It announces this book is science fiction. And it has all those different bodies which could mean science fiction from the past or going into the future. Things are very shadowy whichever way you are going. Traveling backwards can get you to places that you know about or new places. Traveling forwards brings you to new places or maybe you go to a place you already know. The cover says a lot about what is inside the book. I would be at least somewhat interested in the book based on the cover.

I stopped to look at the book because of the cover. The surreal look of the people angled toward the title gives off sci-fi vibes. It seems futuristic and made me wonder what they are doing and where they are with all the lights. I considered that the people could be AI or real. It is intriguing and caught my interest.

I liked the cover design for Anticipation Day. I thought the use of colors, such as the icy blues contrasting against the white, drew my eye to the cover, and honestly, was one of the reasons I wanted to read the book. It does a strong job of setting the tone and building intrigue. It clearly labels itself as “science fiction,” reflecting the themes of simulation and identity. It could benefit from a bit more visual breathing room or a stronger emotional connection, but even as it stands, it’s polished and professional.

Although we have been warned many times of the consequences of “judging a book by its cover,” it seems as though judgment in its very nature is a natural element of the human condition, and in this particular instance, we are essentially being asked to do exactly that! As such, I think it is only natural to assume that the aesthetic of this book quite effectively alludes to a topic in the science fiction genre. First and foremost, dark colors swirl around the outer edges of the book and almost a form a circular swirl leading to the center of the book, which makes one think of time travel or other science fictional element. The fact that it looks blurry, to include the faces of four characters or figures in the picture, only helps to add to an element of mystery, which is often associated with that genre. I think the colors work very well with this theme; going from darker to lighter in the center help to solidify this idea. I think that how the book’s title is written also helps contribute to the idea of mysterious intrigue. Overall, I think that the book’s appearance is actually quite fitting to the title and certainly makes me wonder, what would I do?

This cover of gives a sleek sci-fi vibe giving high tech feel. I think it effectively teases the themes of simulation and futuristic architecture. So, it is generally compelling and sparks a flame of inquisitiveness.

The cover immediately signals that we’re stepping into sci-fi territory. The futuristic color scheme, the silhouetted figures, and the surreal design all contribute to a feeling of mystery and high-stakes decision-making—which fits the title really well. It definitely caught my eye and made me curious about the story’s premise.
