Insofar as the word 'should' even has meaning, then we must say that the past is exactly as it should be, everything that happened should have happened, and everything that should happen will happen

The question that lingered in my mind was whether the simulations changed the citizens. It seems unlikely that simulations alone would alter one's mind and behavior without the intervention of mind-altering drugs. There seems to have been something else at play.

I kept wondering what would happen after the events of the book—like how the world would actually deal with all the consequences. Also, I wasn’t totally sure about some characters’ motivations... felt like a few things were left a bit open-ended.

I believe the author might have a sequel for this book, as the ending is a little open-ended. Will there be more problems because of the simulations?
