I agree with most of the others here, the book cover will grab my interest, or not, then I'll read the blurb. If it doesn't sound interesting, I won't choose it. So the book cover encourages me to read the blurb, and then I decide. Both need to be good to give the book a chance.

The cover was the most attention-grabbing for me. If I had read the book's description without the accompanying intriguing cover design, I likely wouldn't have opened this book.

The book cover was the bigger draw for me. I'm a visual guy and a good cover is a major hook. The description was also very interesting, but if the cover wasn't on point I don't know if I would have ever read the description. Maybe I'm shallow but it is how I operate!

It was the book cover. It really portrays what the book is about and also the blue tones are very appropriate for the sci-fi topic. It feels like it transports you to another world.
