This is in answer to the post, 'Was it the cover or the blurb that hooked you'. The cover was great, spooky and surreal, but it was the blurb that sold me. It was succinct and targeted the main theme. So many people are concerned about the effects of Al, and I am one of them. Jeff Michelson's "Anticipation Day' will adorn my side table for the foreseeable future. I'll be back when I've finished a few chapters. Happy reading.

The cover piqued my interest, but the blurb sold me on the book's content. I liked that the official OBC review gave a vivid description of the book's content and described the simulations experienced by the book's characters. I then wanted to read the book to immerse myself in the author's world.

In my case, it's the blurb that hooks me or not. In this case, it hooked me. A cover can be great from an artistic point of view, but the blurb is what really tells me about the book's contents.

For me, it was definitely the blurb that sealed the deal. The cover was intriguing but the blurb really pulled me in with its promise of deep emotional exploration through AI-driven simulations. It hinted at a story that’s not just about technology, but about how we confront our fears and desires in a digital age.

Like others, It was the blurb that hooked me.. Cover was neither good nor bad.. As someone who is always intrigued by AI, I chose the book out of great interest!
