The review is really lengthy and captivating, it seems like a really nice book to read about the twists and turns of Tully's life after he is finally released from the cell

This is a good book and a good story that focuses on redemption and so much more. It is a good and well-written book and I also find the book cover to be quite unique.

I am not sure this is a book I would normally read. I've added it to my tbr list and may read it this summer. Congrats on being BOTD.

Just finished the sample for this book. It really drew me in from the beginning. I'm intrigued to see what happens through the rest of Tully's sentence, if he makes it to see Chloe and tell her her father's dying wish, how Chloe and Butch make it through with their boat and business and what else may come along. Great writing style. Easy read and very visual. Definitely on the list of books to buy and read fully.

Due to the mixed reviews, I am curious about this book. It sounds like a narrative I would enjoy, so I look forward to reading the sample. Irish folklore sounds like an interesting theme.

After reading the free sample and your review, I am intrigued and look forward to reading the book. It may be predictable as others have said but I find Irish folklore and the rediscovery of one's self two interesting themes that make me wanting more. I have put this on my Bookshelf and am looking forward to reading and reviewing it.

There are usual boy meets girl stories but not many begin with in a prison with a man on death row! "Thin Places" by Diane Owens Prettyman is just such a book. It seems that many people loved the story and that many disliked it. I doubt that any book will please everyone. In this story Finn and Chloe will meet but what happens and if they truly find the treasure that Calvery hinted at could make for a very interesting story. I wonder what the title refers to. Will check that reference to Irish lore out. ☘️

Based on the review, I am not sure if this book is for me or not. The plot seems interesting, but I also felt frustrated (especially with the ex-wife, I don't know what Tully was expecting, it was obvious his daughter, who never went to visit him, will not know who he was).

The book seems like it can be a bit contentious. I may just want to read it and found out for myself. Great review by the way. And congrats to the author on the BOTD.

I find myself confused by the mixed reviews. The review at the beginning was positive. I read a few pages and didn't have a problem with the story. I can see how the "predictable romantic turn" was disappointing, and it sounds as though most did not see much mystery. I probably won't read it because there's so much I do want to read. Interesting reviews for sure.

Talk about a series of unfortunate events! To endure the loss of a person you consider a friend, even if only for a short period of time, and fulfill their final wish is an enormous undertaking. This story appears to be truly remarkable, with a focus on the journey rather than just the climactic moments. Thank you for the review!

I agree; it's not easy to pinpoint the exact genre of this book as it seems to overlap a few. I'm looking forward to finding out what happens with Chloe and Tully. Thanks for the review.
