I think this is the third time I'm posting how much I dislike Dickens. So . . . Shakespeare! His humor and irony is great! To read it in high school is hard, and I understand why people don't like it, but if you can find a good version of his work spoken well, you can see all the humor, puns, irony, etc., he uses. It's actually pretty brilliant.

Shakespeare was a generational writer. But I will chose Dickens because I relate more with his writings
