Why do I have to choose again? Anyway, "Half of a Yellow Sun" has to be it. A satisfactory dose of African history in a very engaging story, especially the romance. Also very relatable African setting.

Half of a Yellow Sun is my favorite Chimamanda book. I enjoyed reading it because the story was built on some historical perspective of the Nigerian civil war.

I would definitely go for, Half of a Yellow Sun . An outstanding novel set during the Nigerian-Biafran War. It revolves around the story of personal and political challenges during a conflict. The story sheds light on love, identity, and the impact of war on individuals and society.
What makes this novel more interesting is its themes of love, war, identity, and colonialism resonating on a global level, making it accessible to readers all around the globe. Another thing was its characters. They were deeply developed and undergo personal growth throughout the story. Their relationships, struggles, and choices reflect the complexities of human nature. These are some basic things, making me fall in love with a book!

Half of a Yellow Sun!! One of those books I never wanted to end - and I hadn't felt that way about a book in a long time at that point.

I am most of the way through "Americanah," but my library card expired and I couldn't renew it on Libby! Haha. So once I go to the library and renew the card I will get it again and finish it! I really want not a fan of this book at first, but as it went on I found it more interesting. I look forward to listening to the last few hours of it!

I read Purple Hibiscus. I loved Half of the Yellow Sun, then followed it up with Americanah, which I liked even more. They all offer fresh new perspectives, and I was so taken by her writing style.

I would say Americanah, followed by Dear Ijeawele. I have quite a few of her novels. I watched Half of a yellow Sun years ago before I knew of her. I intend to read the novel soon. I think she is a phenomenol writer, an engaging speaker and overall a wonderful person.

Chimamanda has a new book, Dream Count, coming in March. I am certainly looking forward to this book and cannot wait for its release. It has been quite a while since she published a novel and I am sure she will not disappoint with this one.
