Julian Rathbone - underated writer of Historical Fiction?

Julian Rathbone has written some of the weirdest quirk fiction around. He has also written some of the most fascinating historical fiction- The Last English King, Kings of Albion, Joseph and others.

Have man of you read these? If not perhaps you should they are very clever twists on history.
