Melanie Dickerson

Melanie Dickerson is an author I ran across after I got a Nook. She writes fairy tale retellings and she finds a way to tie them all together. She has about 8 books and three different series. They are worth giving a try. She makes the characters people you grow to care about and they are very hard books to put down.

Melanie Dickerson is a great writer! I recommend The Huntress of Thornbeck Forest, which is a mix of Robin Hood and Swan Lake (wasn't too happy about the ending, but the rest of the book was awesome), and I really recommend The Fairest Beauty, which is a retelling of Snow White.
