I prefer Dan Brown for his stellar and interesting way of writing. I am addicted to his Robert Langdon thriller series. (The Da Vinci Code, Angels and Demons, Origin, Inferno)
Agatha Christie however, is one of the pioneers in the crime mystery genre. She has distinguished herself with some works like Murder on the Orient Express and Death on the Nile. She comes from a different era. Dan Brown comes from my generation and so that is why I would choose him over Agatha Christie.
