But I know lost of little people (and older) who have. Leaving aside anything she has done or will do she has switched alot of people "on" to reading which has to be given a huge Hoooorah!
I think, from the interviews I have seen and read, she is a really "normal" person. Yes she was maybe lucky with Harry - But she worked damn hard to deliver the final product. She hasnt let the success go to her head and she is very family orientated.
Whatever she does I wish her well and again thank <whoever> what she has done for books and reading amongst the young (and old!)

I grew up with Harry Potter and *LOVELOVELOVE* the books with all my heart

P.S. Don't you just hate the movies?

I love her books too. I agree, the movies somehow seem to leave out HUGE chunks out of the books, and they're not nearly as enjoyable as the books. Let's see if they've done justice to Half-blood Prince when it is released in November.julps wrote:I remember reading something about her writing some sort of crime novel next. Sounds odd, but we'll see.

No offense, but I hope she doesn't. All good things have a end and if you try to stretch them out longer than they should be, you just ruin them.development wrote:I admire her. I know she says there won't be more Harry Potter books, but I wonder if she will change her mind down the road and write more.

In some ways, her characters have begun to take a life of their own.
Actors, often get into this type of situation, (called type cast)
I expect that she has a fear of being type cast as the writer of HP and so she
may want to get away from that.
