Since I am a book lover, I read book of different genres. As much as possible, I try to broaden my horizon in my own reading world. I get my inspiration in writing from reading so I guess, reading is a part of my daily life. With all the books that I have read, I find Dan Brown mysterious and creative. Maybe that's the reason why he's my favorite.

I would have to say - Francine Rivers. She is amazing. I am fascinated with her way of mixing hystory, romance, suspense and inspirations into one story. She makes me want to live, love and laugh again!

My favorite authors are Stephen King, Darren Shan, J.K. Rowling, and Amelia Atwater-Rhodes. Anything that has a horror twist or great storyline works for me. Although not many people have heard of Darren Shan and his two well-written series, Cirque du Freak and the Demonata series. [/i]

Harry Crews: Feast of Snakes, The Gospel Singer, Body
Lucius Sheppard: Eternity and Other Stories, Trujillo
Barry Gifford: Wild at Heart, Sailor's Holiday
Seth Morgan: Homeboy
Andrew Vachs: Everybody Pays

I guess it's pretty obvious I like Southern Gothic and dark humor.
