I've been reading since childhood, so I had a few must-read series as a kid! Junie B. Jones was a favorite, as was Nancy Drew. As I got older, I was introduced to Harry Potter. I love every word.

The first time I remember a specific author, though, was Nora Roberts. I discovered her books in eighth grade, and they've been a constant companion. I've read almost everything she's read and still eagerly anticipate each new release!

I remember being a kid and scouring the local library's shelves for everything this man wrote. I loved both the Goosebumps and Fear Street series.

I started to enjoy reading later in life so I would say the first author that I read everything by was Mercedes Lackey then Diana Gabaldon and then much later Jim Butcher, Charlaine Harris as well as Patrick Rothfuss. I had been reading Danielle Steele but she just got too prolific and too expensive to continue as I used to devour her books as soon as they came out. There are several others I read that I haven't quite read everything they've written close though like Anne Bishop, Winston Graham, Laurel K Hamilton, and yes Stephenie Meyer.

As much reading as I've done, the only author I've completed is Phillip Greenspan. He has published three books so that makes it easy. His first two books explore the benfits of health foods using scientific research. I'm a pretty big health food junkie. His third book was completely different. He used scientific method to explore the relationships of husbands and wives. The transferrable application of his stule worked great. I was pleased. I had no idea a scientists could be so funny. The most recent book was titled, Married Men Die First: A Blessing.

When I really started to love reading and was able to buy my own (or pick out) books, I really loved Francine Rivers' novels. They were long and had great stories to get lost in. I haven't read some of her newer material but her older novels were amazing.

Oh man that's a tough question...
I would probably have to go with Jonathan Maberry. He is a fiction author that captures the really deep inner emotions of the characters as the series go on. My favorite series that he wrote is the Rot&Ruin series. In those book he shows his audience how people would really act during an apocalypse and how things would severely change if there was no government.
