I've only read a few Shakespeare plays but the one I fell in love with was The Taming of the Shrew. Mom read the play with us when I was about 12 years old, then took us to see the play. What a great time we had!

Macbeth is my favourite. It's one of those plays that taught me early in life to put my desires in check.

Macbeth. I only read Tempest, Othello, King Lear and Macbeth. Among them, I like Macbeth best.

My favorite, given the number of times I've read it, seen it, taught it, and been choked up by it, is King Lear.

I read some of Shakespeare's plays, but not all of it. My favourite one is Hamlet, despite that I also really like Romeo and Juliet, but that's the more conventional choice

I have not read a Shakespeare play in quite some time. Hamlet is my favorite, from what I remember. The characters always stood out and the plot twists were incredible.

I love all Shakespearean plays which makes it hard for me to choose. But if I had to, I would choose Macbeth and Romeo and Juliet

Definitely Hamlet! Read it junior year of highschool and still remember how hilarious it was so many years later. It was also super dramatic (just how I like them). I thout that maybe it would be creepy and grim like much of the tone of Romeo and Juliet, but it was so much more lighthearted and the jokes were dark but not the same sort of humor like in R&J.

I liked Hamlet His nature of Procrastination caught my attention and I realised I was another Hamlet..lol.
Well, apart from that, his famous soliloquy had a great impact and it still has a special place in my heart. To be or not to be that is the question...Just love it!

Antony and Cleopatra is the play that entranced me the most. Cleopatra's character is like a whirlpool. Her whimsical dialogues... Everything about that play is tempestuous and wild. I really enjoyed that play.

It's a tough tie between Merchant of Venice and Macbeth... Those two I've read over and over again.

Romeo and Juliet is a classic.
