I read the first six vampire chronicle books a long time ago and loved them. I didn't know she had a new book and movie coming out. I am going to re-read them. I've always been fascinated by New Orleans since I read her books. I also liked the mayfair witch books.

Love the Mayfair witch books. I am like the original poster with the vampire books though..having seen the movie I didn't want to read the books really as I can only see Tom Cruise as Lestat now. There was a recent post on Anne Rice's Facebook page referencing that another major film studio will remake the vampire films.

I have read all her vampire books and the mayfair witches. I love everyone of them. I agree that since reading these books New Orleans hold a great fascination for me. I feel like I am right in her books as I read them. She is one of the first vampire authors that I ever read.

I have read many of her books. I started with the Vampire Chronicles and read quite a few more. My favorite series of hers is the Mayflower Witch series.
