Growing up I didn't like to read, so I've gotten a late start. I'm not sure I have an author I've read everything of. Series - yes! Everything they've ever published - not as likely.

I'd guess Jeaniene Frost since she was an early favorite and I was (still am) into paranormal romance and she hasn't been published for years and years, so she doesn't have as much material out there yet. I had to have every novel and short story in between. I would go to her web page and read all of her postings, soak up her words, and basically stalk-out her page.

When I was 12 I read my first Terry Pratchett Discworld books "Wyrd Sisters" and ever since I've read anything Pratchett wrote (that I can get).

Hhhmmm.... I am not sure who the first author was, but I can think of several that were addicting as a chikd thay I wanted to read everything by. Dr. Suess was one, Bill Peet was another, Laura Ingalls Wilder, American Girl, and Nancy Drew. As an adult one of my favorite authors that I've read everything of are Francine Rivers, and Karen Hancock.

Anne McCaffery was the first author that I read one and then did my best to track down the others. I also read most of Stephen King up until the late 90's when I was in high school and got bored with him.

The first author I had to read everything by was Marjorie Weinman Sharmat. She wrote the series, Nate the Great. I think I was about 5 or 6 and I loved Nate the Great. I think the next author I had to read everything by was Gary Paulsen.

I believe in Elementary school the first author I had to read everything by was Agatha Christie. I loved all the intense mysteries then.

I didn't really get into books until I was I want to say 19 so the first authosr I just had to read their works was Lauren Oliver and Ally Condie. I loved their books from the get go and it was them I believe that really got me into reading.

In third grade, I fell in love with The Babysitter's Club series by Ann M. Martin. I used to check them out from the school library all the time, and relatives bought them for me as well.

J.K Rowling. My aunt and uncle brought me the first Harry Potter book from England, and every time a new book became available in Canada I had to have it.
