Ellen hopkins for sure. I own all of her books, both adult and YA, in hand. I have also had the pleasure of meeting her a few times to where she was able to autograph all my book for me. She is one author that I will never stop loving. She pushes the boundaries on her books and makes people really think about the real world.

Karen Slaughter. A friend gave me the book Blindsighted and within the first ten pages I couldn't stop reading. After finishing that book within three hours I was out buying everything I could find by her. Karen is an amazing crime/thriller author.

I can't narrow this down to one because there are two authors I would love to read everything by. They are, Ted Dekker and Dean Koontz. I love Dean Koontz's Odd Thomas series. I've read all of them and I'm about to read the last one, Saint Odd. I'm looking forward to it! Ted Dekker has a series called The Circle Series. Great books, and you can read the first one last or the last one first, it doesn't matter, it's the same story.

When I first began reading and collecting books (apx. preschool age), I was in love with all things Richard Scarry. I read every one of his books I could get my hands on. Later, I loved the Boxcar Children and the Anne of Green Gables books. In fourth grade, I read my first collection of Edgar Allan Poe stories and was hooked. I had to find every poem, every story I could.

I remember after reading the first harry potter book I became hooked but it seems like I do that with all the series I have read. I do love Jennifer Crusie though and have aimed to read all the books my local library has by her.

It is interesting that I still have not read all of the Harry Potter series. I need to add that to my todo list.

I was 14 when I started reading Stephen King and I immediately had to snap up everything he wrote. I became a horror junky after that and even though my reading tastes have expanded vastly over the years I still love my horror!

As a child, it was the Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys series! Then, when I discovered John Grisham, I had to read all his books! He even went to the college I graduated from.

Elinor Brent-Dyer. I read all her "Chalet School" series in my school days. Now I am collecting the paperbacks so that I can introduce my little girl to her mesmerizing world.

Jodi Picoult. I love how she can take a situation that should be as simple as black and white and blur the lines to grey. One of my favorite examples of this is her book "19 Minutes". While we are all aware of the school shootings that have taken place across the US, our first reaction is how can someone do this. This particular book gives insight to a characters struggles, bullying, and extreme emotional distress. Quite frankly I found myself empathizing with the character and I could understand the possibility of being so broken down and pushed to the limits to react. She definitely makes me look at things from a different perspective and make me question where everything really is so black and white. Kudos to Jodi Picoult for her riveting writings that will make you question your own beliefs.

Jana DeLeon.
So far it's been her "miss fortune" series (so funny) but I can't wait to read the rest of her "ghost in law" series.

RL Stine and Christopher Pike. Followed right behind with Dean Koontz.

Anne McCaffery. I started reading her books in elementary school. She opened the world of dragons in my imagination and I will always be thankful for that. She and Piers Anthony both gave me a magical childhood.

Ray Bradbury probably. After reading Fahrenheit 451, I had to read everything by him.
