Emily Giffin. I love some of her books more than others, but she is the one author that I have to buy every new book on the day that it comes out.

When I was younger, I read the Magic Treehouse books by Mary Pope Osborne and couldn't stop. I think those books were the first books that I had ever read.

Latest Review: "Granny's Stories" by Margaret Henderson

The first for me was the Junie B Jones books by Barbara Park. Then when I was in college in a children's literature class, I chose to read most of Judy Blume's books for a project. I chose her because her name sounded familiar, but when I started reading I was surprised to find that her coming of age stories were so realistic and detailed. I think I read all of "Forever" with my mouth agape!

Enid Blyton, then Judy Blume. Then I moved onto Stephen King and James Herbert.

Stephen King was the first author I could not get enough of. I was introduced to him in junior high with Pet Cemetery. I couldn't read his books fast enough and lost a lot of much needed sleep during the school week. :)

My first series of which I had to read everything was the Cirque Du Freak series but Darren Shan. I honestly haven't finished it. I believe there are 12 books in the series and I only read 9. I haven't been reading in a while, but have been starting to miss it lately. Therefore, one of the books that I'm looking to pick up is the 10th book in that series so that I can finish it! :D

I absolutely love Heather Graham! I have read almost every book from her because I love the story lines and I can't help but put myself inside the story

Laura Ingalls Wilder!!
Got the whole set when I was 7 and read every single one. Still remember the feeling when Laura described her adventures. :D

That would be Melody Carlson. Easy, captivating reading after a long day at work - where you just want to get lost in a book and not be mentally overtaxed - but interesting enough to not make me fall asleep! Love all of her books and she has written a ton!

As a kid I read everything done by R.L. Sine I could get my hands on. There are a few I could not get access to in my town and it still annoys me as an adult.

Definitely Jodi Picoult...she has a way of discussing heartbreaking issues without coming across as corny. She captures emotion so beautifully. I've read everything that i could possibly find by her.
