Make them buy it. They're the ones with all the big bucks! (Allegedly) ;)

After reading The Things They Carried, I'd be interested in hanging out with Tim O'Brien, if only because of the stories he could tell. Maybe Rick Riordian. He seems like a fun guy to be around.

C.S. Lewis... because then probably J.R.R. Tolkein would be there as well as the rest of the Inklings, and we would be in a pub in England... Sounds perfect to me!

I would love to have a beer with my favorite author Nora Roberts! For me I can't keep up with all her books but I have tried!

One thing I would ask Shakespeare is if he really wrote his own stuff or if he took the work of Christopher Marlowe. Of course, I'd have to give him some sort of truth serum or something because he would say he did his own work but I'm not so sure anymore.

My first choice at the moment would probably be Charles De Lint. As I am a musician as well as a writer, like De Lint (though much less experienced), I imagine we'd have a lot to talk about--and would love to ask him how he felt inspired to write urban fantasy in the first place.

Bet he's a craft beer fan, haha. Some good stuff in Canada and the US. :)

I wanna have a beer with someone other than Stephen King like, I don't know, someone cooler like Robert R. McCammon. But it would be especially rad to kick back with Louis L'Amour, seriously, if you don't know you better axe somebody..... Or Google him and read, that man had a badass life.

Terry Pratchett if he was still alive... Of living authors it would be really interesting to have lunch with Neil Gaiman or Margaret Atwood.
