The first author that had to read everything of was Ron Roy. I read his whole A to Z Mysteries series that was published at the time. He's published much more, not only in that series, but others as well. The series is similar to the Magic Treehouse series, which I also loved and read, but I liked Roy's better (plus it was cheaper).

I read all the Laura Ingalls Wilder books, babysitters club series, v.c. andrews and Janette Oke when I was younger and first started to really get into reading those were my top picks. The only ones I still read today are the Janette Oke books.

Caroline B. Cooney was the first author like that for me. However, Edgar Allan Poe was quickly behind that. Still working on his stuff :)

I would have to say Patricia Cornwall. The first book I read of hers had me hooked, it was a perfect balance of suspense and drama.

I would have to say Lani Lynn Vale, I haven't found another Author that writes like her and is able to hold my attention through out the entire book and still leave me coming back for more.
Though I walk by day, I treasure my nights with you.

When I was a kid, Tamora Pierce was the first author that I had to read everything by. I loved all the books from the Tortall universe. These were the books that got me hooked on fantasy.

Stephen King was the first author I felt the desire to read everything he had written. It started in 1986 when I was in college, where I earned my tuition by working as a night watchman at an AT&T office building in New Jersey. Each evening I was alone in the building with nothing to do but to monitor the building security system. As a result, I brought books with me to pass the time. Often times I could read an entire book during an eight-our shift. One evening that summer, I brought with me Stephen King's "The Shining." I tell you...there was nothing like reading THAT one in an empty office building during the midnight shift. At any rate, I loved the story and just HAD to read Mr. King's entire catalog. I started with "Carrie" and ended with "It," which was his current release at the time. Now, thirty years later, I'm still up to date with Stephen King books.

Jacqueline Wilson, literally any and every book I could get my hands on!

I was about 8/9 where I think I could actually properly read a book, as I really struggled to read when I was younger. But now I'm a certified book lover :D

The first author that I read every book was probably Dr Zeuss. I wasn't a completest as a kid. But every Friday I would walk to the neighborhood toy store which had a huge book section. I would have to choose whether my allowance was going for "Bobbsy Twins", "Nancy Drew" or Barbie clothes.

As a teen I had to have a Complete Sherlock Holmes one Hannukah, and all 3 Lord of the Rings and Samilliron the next year. I remember reading all the Asimov and Bradbary that I could get.

At 59 I am still a completest. I read every new Grafton, Evonovich, Robb and Rita Mae Brown. I read all of Patterson's series (for any age group) and I am working my way through the stand alones.

Melina Marchetta. I think I read almost her whole catalog after about a month; I just couldn't stop reading! I also read the complete Sherlock Holmes in about a week as well because Doyle is amazing.
