Since I'm not a big drinker, Bukowski and Poe would probably be getting started, and I'd be lying drunk under the table....

Wordsworth, Coleridge, Terry Pratchett (although he might just confuse me), Vonnegut, Don DeLillo, Virginia Woolf. Just thinking about it makes me sad that I can't actually meet them ...

I would love to see Stephan King drunk that would be so funny. I would also love to just sit down and have a coupe of coffe with him. Picking his brain about everything writing would be a dream come true!

probably have to be J K rowling i dont know if shed want beer but the only reason i would have a drink with her would be to kick her in the face for ending such a good series. WHY would she do such a thing

C.S. Lewis. I'd like to persuade him to write a book explaining the parts of Shakespeare I still don't get. Nobody explains like Lewis.

There are, of course, some practical problems with this. My lack of a time machine is likely to throw a spanner in the works.
