Any new Dark Fantasy and Satire authors out there? Give me in your opinion present or past worthy authors and their titles that fit in either or both of these genres.

One of the most enjoyable satires I've ever read is Nathanael West's A Cool Million.

A much better known satire is Heller's Catch-22.

A fairly obscure satire is Karel Capek's War with the Newts. Great stuff if you like dry wit mixed with oddball fantasy.

Also obscure is the anonymously authored The Adventures of Jonathan Corncob (1787).

Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman. It's not really satire though--more like dry humor.
