Boxed up? Storage shed? How much do you want for them?FiremansWife wrote:It has been many years since I've read anything by Charles Dickens. A Christmas Carol is a great read. I was young when I read Great Expectations and honestly can't remember if I even finished it. I believe it is one of the hundreds of books I have boxed up in my storage shed. Either way, it appears I will be checking it out from the library! The movie is pretty good and I'm positive I will enjoy the book much better.

Awesome! It's not one of his more popular novels, but in my top three or four, for sure!L_Therese wrote:I'm a Dickens nerd this month. I just read Our Mutual Friend, and it's my new favorite.

I read The Pickwick Papers long ago and didn't like it much, but last year I read it again and absolutely loved it. For some reason I just didn't appreciate the humor the first time around, but the second time I thought it was excellent.kairkyn wrote:Oliver Twist out of those three, but my own favorites are David Copperfield and Pickwick Papers.
