Any Joseph Delaney Fans?

Post by TimeKeeperApprentice »

So I have just started reading The Wardstone Chronicles: The Spook's Apprentice but it's name in the U.S The Last Apprentice: The Witch's Revenge and it is a great story! I got it from a recommendation from a receipt from a Barnes and Noble purchase. It totally paid off, the book is great and I can understand it. It's not like Crispin: The Cross of Lead by Avi(who speaks very mideval, I sometimes cannot make out what in the world they are saying.) This talks more 'modern' but no slang or anything, though it said "ain't". So are there more fans like me?

Love is "Last Apprentice" series. Just read "I am Grimalkin". I discovered this series when he had 8 or so of the series published, now I am chomping at the bit for the remainder of the series to come out. Supposedly, the book is going to be made into a movie soon, I hope they don't screw it up.

By the way, do you know of any book series similar to the "last apprentice" series? I love a good series and I'm starving for a new one. I have plenty of recommendations if we happen to like similar books.
