John Grisham. I love his works even though I can always tell when they're a bit... unrealistic, by virtue of being a lawyer myself.

my favorite author is Dan Brown and I have finished all of his works. the best of his works are angels and demons and if you want a stand-alone novel would be The Deception point. try his books, you won't be disappointed.

Neal Shusterman for his fascinating worlds and Victoria Aveyard for her wonderful plots and the way battles/betrayals/etc. actually take realistic tolls on her characters.

Unfortunately for me, some of my favourite writers are not the best kind of people (J.K Rowling). I do however find I quite enjoy reading John Green's novels.
