I'm reading Victor Hugo's -Les Miserables in Arabic. Haven't finished it yet, but I have to say it's amazing!

What do you guys think of his writing?

I don't know about Star, but I would love to learn some Arabic. 8)

Les Miserables is unquestionably my favorite book, by the way.

I've read a few books originally written in Arabic that were translated into English! Naguib Mafouz's novels, mostly.

I love the idea of Les Miserables translated into Arabic! I wish I had been strong enough in French to read it in its original language...
