Question to fellow authors:

Have you ever fallen in love with one of your readers?
For me it just happened few months ago that I have dedicated her a book which I am about to publish soon.
But she still does not know it yet.

Shall I tell her when the book is published, or should i just let her find out about it herself?

I've never been in your situation but I would give her a copy as a present and let her find out that way when she reads it. Hopefully it will be a pleasant surprise and not any other variation it could be taken as.

Maybe you ought to ask. maybe the subject of your ardor would not care to have your book dedicated to her.

Quite an interesting scenario.....personally I'd love to have a book dedicated to me.....always wanted to see my (real) name in print or e-ink or whatever.....but it would be nice to be told in person by the author.....
