This year I discovered a new favorite author in John Ringo when I first read The Last Centurion and was hooked! I really enjoyed his 'blog style' read of a near future adventure. i enjoyed his sardonic whit and thought provoking political topics. This book was intellegent, fast paced and made me laugh out loud in several places. Since then, I have read several of his series and have enjoyed each of them so far. (I have also adopted the Mardukian outlook on playing poker ... 'if you're not cheating, you're not trying' lol)

I've only read a couple of his books, just finished "There will be Dragons", but I will be getting more for sure! I like his wit and take on politics as well.
