My favorite Dickens novel is The Pickwick Papers. Fun collection of adventures of Samuel Pickwick.

A Tale of Two Cities. Part of the reason I can't say Oliver Twist is because the abridged version was a prescribed reading for me in high school and so I wound up studying that one quite thoroughly even if I'd read the original beforehand. Lose nuances from the original like that. But I love all of Dickens' novels - though Great Expectations felt a little more simplistic than the others I've read.

I've read a couple of his works, A Christmas Carol and Oliver Twist, both I've enjoyed immensely. But since A Christmas Carol is out, then I guess that leaves Oliver Twist as my favorite so far.

One of my favorite Dickens novels is Oliver Twist because it has meaning and questions society.

A Christmas Carol of course. :) I re-read it every year over the holidays, and I am getting so psyched over reading it again this year!

Little Dorrit although it's the only one I've read 😂 I'm planning to read A Tale of Two Cities soon.

I took a whole course on Dickens in college, and I remember especially enjoying David Copperfield. Wrote a great paper on it as well, if I may say so myself!

Dickens wrote so many good stories, but I believe that Oliver Twist is possibly my favorite of his books.

So many of Dickens' novels are emotionally devastating, but I think the one that takes the cake for me is Oliver Twist.

Oliver Twist! I loved this book as a child. I still read it sometimes.

It's hard for me to choose just one. When I visited London as a child, my family went to a museum that had miniature (dollhouse) settings of all of the Dickens' books. This made the scenes in all of the books come to life. Since he was one of my favorite authors at the time (during my fifth- and sixth-grade years), that made such an impression on me that I have come to love pretty much all of his books equally.

I love the Pickwick Papers and find them the funniest and best of his works. But I have to include Nicholas Nickleby. Some of his most interesting characters in there as well. Although I have read most of his books and cannot say there is one I did not enjoy. His non-fiction diaries though can become a bit tedious unless the subject interests you. 😀

Oliver Twist with David Copperfield jostling for second.
