I raced when I was reading Sherlock Holmes. The whole compilation of Conan Doyle in a single week. I started the 1500 pages book one Wednesday and finished reading it the next Wednesday. I really enjoyed the works of Doyle, so I did not want to read other adaptations.

But if you found any adaptation that is almost like Doyle's Holmes please recommend.
One book, printed in the heart's own wax Is worth a thousand in the stacks.
