Alice Meynell

Alice Meynell is probably best known for her poetry, but she was actually an incredible and breathtaking essayist, and she herself considered her strength to be in prose. I absolutely love her work and was wondering if anyone here happened to be familiar with her.
She also was a strong suffragist, which is a bit of an interesting tidbit, since she's mostly remembered for her work as a poet. She died in 1922, and I don't meet a lot of people these days who know about her, which is pretty sad. She had some really strong prose, with vivid and slightly cryptic ways of speaking, and wrote with such passion that just reading her work you feel like she's sharing whole parts of herself with you; and in a way, she is. I would love for more people to get to know her and her work, so you should check her out.
