Which author do you plan on reading everything they have ever written?

Jane Austen. She did not write a lot, and I've watched all the movies, so what excuse do I have? So I have a lazy streak. The effort is worth it in this case.

Rosamunde Pilcher is another author I feel is worth reading all. And Maeve Binchy. I know this is totally subjective.

I have a serious problem with this. I think I have some kind of book disease. I actually have lists and every author that I start I read all their books good, bad and and the ugly. Favourites so far.

Nicholas Sparks, and Jodi Picoult I have read almost everything by them. Cassandra Clare, I have read almost everything by her as well. Maggie Stiefvater, Jane Austen, Leo Tolstoy, and many more!

Richard Preston, Michael Crichton, and Sarah Dessen, just to name a few. I recently learned that Crichton wrote under pseudonyms, so I have even more to read-yay!

I have read all of Jane Austens, all of George MacDonald, now I am working on Michael Phillips

V.C. Andrews, Gillian Flynn, Jennifer McMahan, Alice Hoffman, Ted Dekker, Brandon Mull, JK Rowling, Felix de Palma, and Im sure a few others that I cant think of off the top of my head.

I like to collect entire authors' works, but reading them is a challenge for me. I have "series" issues, wherein I can't progress past a certain point without losing my focus. For example, I made it halfway through the delightful Heartland series by Lauren Brooke, but then I just got stuck, and a few years later I still can't get unbudged. (In my defense, there are about twenty books involved. So... it's the author's fault for writing so many books, darn it! Bad author.)

Zelda, my husband went to a library book sale not long ago and bought me about 25 of her books...various series. Im completely overwhelmed.

I have read everything by AM Hudson, she is an amazing Australian author who wrote the refreshing vampire series, Dark Secrets which is targeted at new adult audience.

I plan to read all Shakespeare's works. I found a version that really speaks to me, and makes it easy to understand.

There are a few, but I think my biggest accomplishment was Atwood, though I haven't read all of her poetry (I'm just more of a fiction person). I read The Handmaid's Tale and got hooked, ended up taking a seminar where we read one of her books every week, and then read the rest from there. Not into some of them, to be honest, but Surfacing and Cat's Eye were both just incredible.

Louis L’Amour - I have read all of his 100+ books twice. Belonged to his book of the month club (leatherette collection) and read them when received and then read them all again years later in alphabetical order.

John Steinbeck – read all of his books.

Ian Fleming – read all of the James Bond series (gave the entire paperback collection to the library)

James Lee Burke – read all of his 35+ books.

Robert B. Parker - read 60+ of approx. 69 books. Working on the remainder.

Elmore Leonard – read 21+ of his and working my way through the rest

James Clavell – read all of the Asian Series books.

Tony Hillerman –read all 18 of his Navajo Mystery novels and about 8 of the other novels.

Don Coldsmith – read 28 of 29 of the “Spanish Bit” series and 4 of 8 of the other novels.

Larry McMurtry – read 24 of his books.

David Baldacci - read approx. 24 of 28 novels.

Terry Pratchett - read most of his

Catherine Ryan Hyde - in process of reading most of hers

Neil Gaiman - read many/most of his

Ernest Hemingway - think I read all of his

Cormac McCarthy
