Mine is Cassandra Clare because most of my friends are fiction lovers. She's a unique writer. I love her story. She's got creative and imaginative plots. She's a perfect author for fantasy, YA fiction, and adventure books.

Thank you for this question. I would recommend many times over the following authors: Ian Fleming (James Bond series), Francine Rivers (Christian fiction) and Robert Thier (historical fiction)

Enid Blyton for children. I still remember the books years later. This author definitely added into my love for reading and I can’t wait to try out my children on the books such as “Wishing Chair.”

Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Her writing is just so good. Fictional but based on real life events, I just love her honestly.

P.D. James. I love her work. I was first introduced to her books with Death Comes to Pemberly, a fanfiction sequel to Pride and Prejudice. After that, I fell in love with her detective series.

I always recommend Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and Ursula K Le Guin.

I think both of them deserve even more recognition than they currently receive.
