Mikhail Bulgakov and Margarita and the Master. That book is so brilliant, and Bulgakov just - I do not have the words. It transcends reading.

If someone is going on holiday and wants a long read....then Count of Monte Cristo or Liu Cixin's trilogy...amazing books.

Dan Brown! I am so in love with his Langdon series that I recommend it to everyone who ask me about thriller novels.

Dan Brown and J.K. Rowling are two authors I always recommend. Both write stories that are creative and bring people together. They definitely deserve the global success they have earned. Check out their books.

I recommend authors based on the genre the person is a fan of. I do not have a blanket author I recommend to everyone because not everyone has the same taste as me. When I run into someone who reads a genre I am not familiar with, I flip it and ask them the favorite author of the genre. Then I have something new to discover.

Czarmaine AM wrote: 29 May 2017, 19:30 Colleen Hoover is one of my all time favorite authors. After reading her first book, Slammed, I became obsessed with her and always talked about her to my friends. Since 2012, I have been following her and reading all her books. They are all good! :)
The first book I read from her was Maybe Someday and from then on I was hooked. She is incredible!

Percy Jackson, I think his books are better read than watching the movies. I actually think he's got quite the humor.

It depends on what types of books they tend to read. If they are looking for books that kids can read I would go with Erin Hunter.

Agatha Christie of course! She will never go out of style with an imagination like hers! Her novels are unpredictable.
