New Favorite Author

I was recently turned on to CJ Trent by a friend of mine. I'd never heard of her before, but her book Lions of Autumn is pretty good. It kinda reminds me of Twilight, just more grown up and less angsty. From what I can find on her myspace, she's been writing short stories for a while. I followed a link to shadeworks and her short story "Inspiration" is in the halloween issue. It's messed up, but good. I'd say her second book will be even better than the first, if that short story is anything to go by. She seems pretty promising.
