Camilla Lackberg

I just wanted to draw attention to Swedish author, Camilla Lackberg.
I stumbled upon her accidently when I borrowed a book from my sister entitled "Buried Angels". A couple of chapters in I realised that this was part of a series of books written by Lackberg. I have since found out that she has published at least 8 books in the "Patrik Hedstrom" series so I went back to the beginning and read her first novel "The Ice Princess" which was published in 2003.
The books fall into the "Crime" genre and centre around a young detective with the Swedish police. The stories are well written and while at times quite intense the back stories of Patrik and his partner Erica add some light-heartedness and humour that is much appreciated.
Highly recommended!
PS At the completion of one book I was curious about something that happened and had a couple of questions I wished could be answered. I went to Camilla's Facebook page and "messaged" her. Within two days someone from her team had replied with a great explanation that cleared everything up for me - how good is that??!!!
