Pat Conroy

Post by MsMartha »

A favorite author of mine, Pat Conroy, died Friday (March 4th). His books were published from 1970 to 2013, and a couple of them became movies as well. I haven't read everything he wrote, so I guess this is a good time to go to the library. The Great Santini and The Prince of Tides are two of his books that I would recommend if you're interested in his works.

I too enjoyed Conroy's works and recently purchased The Prince of Tides. He will be missed, RIP Pat.

I read "The Water is Wide" back when it came out in paperback coinciding with the movie. I was sad to hear of his death.
