Hello,

I was thinking about Stephen King's Carrie, and I'm just blown back at how his style has changed over the years!

What styles of authors have you found to be most prominent?

Also, the Locker Room Scene in Carrie is a bit ridiculous. Waay too much uterine lining coming out on the first day lol

I love this post idea! What a great topic. It's funny to think how some authors evolve with time while others find what works for them and keep doing the same thing. I think I've mostly found authors maturing their writing style with time which is almost always good to see... however, some authors I have found become less intriguing over time. For me, Phillipa Gregory was a favorite for a very long time but I feel her writing has "devolved" over time and her newer books are incredibly difficult to get through/very formulaic.

Daphne du Maurier.
Such an unpredictable writer, so many different genres and plotlines.
