For me it's D.E Carlson. She's a Christian "romantasy" author. I've read many books from Christian authors, and as noble as it is to write books from a Christian worldview, it often means that the quality of writing is lacking. I found D.E. Carlson on Instagram and I was skeptical at first but I ARC read her new book and I was pleasantly surprised. Her writing style is better than many Christian authors I've read. In some ways, you can definitely still tell that this is her first book and there is room for improvement, but she also has a good foundation to build on.
