I was introduced to BC about 18 months ago and have not been able to stop reading him... about two thirds of the way through the Sharpe series and 20 pages short of finishing Heretic... could not keep the eye's open any longer last night. Have read one of the series on/around Arthur also.

Favorite Sharpe so far would be Company but really enjoyed the Indian books also.

Not a fan of the TV series... I know many are though.

Cheers

I'm not surprised you don't enjoy the TV series not alot of people do after they read the books. I have just finished Azincourt, thats a good book and recommend it. I love the Starbuck Series and find the American Civil War a great subject of interest now.

I've seen his books and been on the fence about buying them, they looked really good but it's impossible to tell. I need to just find the first at the library and check it out!
